Romance in North Norfolk

With Valentines Day looming it’s time to start getting a bit romantic and what better destination  than North Norfolk. You hardly have to try with our gentle rolling countryside, great walks, amazing beaches, wonderful restaurants and so much more.

But lets have a look at some of the best options:

An early morning walk down Overy Staithe sea wall to Holkham beach, pack a champagne breakfast picnic and enjoy the sunrise and one of the most amazing views.

View at Burnham Overy Staithe

Dinner for two in the cosy 20 North Street, with their delicious food and great service you need to book at this little restaurant. I haven’t yet been but I’ve heard so many good things that maybe, just maybe, if I drop enough hints...

How about a steam train ride on North Norfolk Railway from Sheringham to Holt? What could be more romantic? Maybe a little handbag shopping in Holt?

Share a pan of mussels at the Jolly Sailors after a walk on Brancaster beach, your slightly soggy sandy dog will be welcome too. This pub has a great local atmosphere and is very welcoming with their open fire on a cold day - just what’s needed after a blustery walk on Brancaster beach, perfect!

Spoil yourselves with a spa day, there’s lots of them in North Norfolk, the Hoste Spa in Burnham Market are doing a special couples deal with petit fours and fiz and the add on option a spa lunch and half hour hot tub session.

For a really romantic treat you could enjoy Oysters and Cocktails at The Manor in Titchwell and then just a short stroll across the road to Lark Cottage, Titchwell, North Norfolk.

If chocolates and flowers are more your thing, try The Chocolate Deli in Wells, just one word ‘Delicious’ and Scent with Love in Hunstanton.

Romance doesn’t just have to be for February 14th, if you’re struggling to think of the perfect gift why not book yourself or your loved ones a break in one of our holiday cottages, not just for couples - we welcome dogs and kids too. Book Now!

Happy Valentines Day! X
