Shopping

There are so many great places to shop from designer boutiques to essentials from Tesco... with something for everyone in between. Here are some of my favourites with the essentials at the end.

Burnham Market is a very trendy boutique village, it has lots of lovely shops for food and clothes. Burnham Market has its own website to promote all of it's businesses, Lime Green, Gurney's Fish Shop with Humble Pie Deli above, Pentney House, Gunhill, along with much more.

Holt is a lovely town with a vibrant atmosphere, it has lots of lovely shops and eateries. A bit of light shopping at 'The Tannery' that sells beautiful handbags, followed by lunch at Byfords - perfect! Holt has a town guide, there's plenty for everyone to enjoy.

Drove Orchards, on the edge of Thornham, has a couple of shops, a great farm shop, pick your own, Eric's fish and chip shop and more.

Creake Abbey has a monthly farmer's market on the first Saturday morning of every month. There are shops there all the time and also the lovely farm shop and cafe. It's really worth going to the Farmer's Market if you're here at the right time.

Docking Market is held every Wednesday morning at the village hall. It has a fish monger, butcher, fruit and veg, lovely curry, jams, bread, jewellery. There is also a cafe selling tea and bacon sarnies.

Wells Deli has some delicious offerings, I especially love the cakes.

Brancaster Fish Shed has a lovely selection of fresh fish, they also sell some fruit and veg and some local game. Great for a quick easy lunch.

Burnham Deepdale has Delegate Market which has a selection of shops, a cafe, and garage.
