Samphire Cottage is my newest property and I love it! From the second you arrive you feel instantly at home. There are two bedrooms sleeping five with a large family bathroom. The enclosed courtyard is so peaceful and secluded, dogs and children are very welcome. Short breaks are available during term time.

The kitchen is light and bright and is fully equipped: dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble drier, microwave and electric oven and hobs.
The living room makes you feel instantly at home and relaxed, it has two large sofas, there is a large open fire, smart free view television, and wifi. There is also a dining area, which would comfortably seat four/six.
Upstairs has two bedrooms. The master has a kingsize bed and the second bedroom is a double bunk with a single above it. There is a large bathroom with a lovely roll top bath to relax in. There is no shower at this property. I can supply a travel cot and high chair if needed. We welcome dogs but do ask that they remain downstairs.
There is a pretty enclosed courtyard garden, with BBQ to the rear of the property. Across the road, there is a garden with countryside views. You can park unrestricted on the road.
Unlimited dogs are very welcome at no charge. We do ask that they remain downstairs, but do get in touch if you have any special requirements as we always try to be flexible. We supply bowls, dog tags, towels and crates if requested. There is a handy hose outside for muddy paws.

Parking is at the back of the property behind the first garage door on the right as you enter 'Docking Rural Workshops'.

Docking is a large working village and contains the highest point in North West Norfolk. There is a Spar Shop, Rural Workshops, Post Office, Fish and Chip Shop and The Railway Inn local pub. There is a village farmers market on each Wednesday between 9-1pm selling local produce, Coriander and Lime Curry, Fresh Fish, Fruit and Veg, Butchers Stall and many others. On a Monday evening, there is also the fabulous Bordolis Pizza Van from 5-8pm.
The village, surrounded by countryside, is just 4 miles to Brancaster and it's beautiful beach and miles of coastal path. It is well known that 'all roads lead to Docking' making it the perfect place to explore everything that North Norfolk has to offer.

Summer holidays is £575/week
Half terms, Easter and Christmas Holidays £525/week
June, early July and September £450/week £295/short break
Term time is £350/week £275/short break
We will take short breaks during term time and last minute during the school holidays.
We don't charge extra for unlimited dogs, travel cots, high chairs, dog crates, or anything else that we can provide...
We take either a £100 or 25% deposit (whichever is more) on booking to secure the dates and then the balance two calendar months before your arrival. If your booking is last minute (within 60 days of arrival) then we need the full amount on booking.
Rental rates are for the entire property.

Check in is at 4pm and check out is at 10am, this can only be changed by prior arrangement and if there isn't a back to back changeover. I will always email on the day if the property is ready early.
